plasma tv stand with hidden wheels fort lauderdale

From the beginning, when the plasma screen television hit the market, everyone was in awe. Unsurprisingly, many people simply preferred the newer model’s thin and flat look to that of the old, bulkier model. The new plasma screen television featured a good deal more flexibility than the older bulkier sets ever dreamed of having. Due to their slim new frame, the newer models allowed you to hang them from the ceiling or attach them to a wall. This space saving feature made the newer model a favorite in showcases and other similar display arenas.

So what is the technology behind such a radical advancement in the way we enjoy our favorite shows and movies? The plasma screen television does not utilize any CRT (cathode ray tubes) in order to make its images. The need to consume so much space that the older models had was due to their reliance on CTR. Rather than employ CRT, the plasma screen television is composed of neon-xenon gas into tiny glass cells. You have the neon-xenon which is then suspended in the plasma and strikes blue, green, and red colored phosphors whenever it becomes charged with electricity. Through the eruption of the phosphors, an image is made.

Many times, people purchase a plasma screen television due to its sheer impressive size. If you focus on these features exclusively, however, you are inviting unpleasant counter-effects. Bigger isn’t necessarily better for a plasma screen television, though they typically run the range from being 32″ all the way up to 63″. You have to remember what size room you are going to be putting the set into. With the size of these sets, it will be an imposing figure in your entertainment room and so it is important to put it where you think it is appropriate.

Many different studies have been cited that show the dangers of sitting too close to the TV. People with a 32-37 inch TV should sit back at least six to ten feet. However, if you are going a little larger, with a 42-46 inch set, then increase your distance to ten to fourteen feet. Additionally, a recommended length of fifteen feet should be kept away from a fifty inch plasma set. An incredible distance of 25 feet is recommended for TVs that measure more than 60 inches.
